An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team in Skene Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital as a Healthcare Support Worker.

Skene Ward is an 18 bedded, mixed sex ward for individuals who have a diagnosis of dementia and can experience a level of stress and distress behaviours. The focus of our service is to provide high quality, person centred care to patients who are admitted for assessment purposes who require to be supported at differing stages of their journey.

The post holder should hold a genuine interest in working in the Older Adult Directorate, particularly in dementia care. Suitable candidates should be motivated to work as part of a team in a challenging and developing area within psychiatry. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in health and social care and have experience of working within a hospital setting with transferable skills.

This post is full time, 37 hours per week. The post holder will be expected to work on a 12 hour shift pattern, with a mix of days and nights.
