The predicted salary is between 57600 - 84000 £ per year.

The department of orthopaedics at NHS Golden Jubilee is one of the largest arthroplasty units in the UK, with 25 Consultants. The department performs approximately 5000 total hip and knee replacements, 600 foot and ankle procedures, as well as soft tissue knee and hand/wrist surgeries. It features an enhanced recovery programme and a robotics programme with 2 MAKO robots. The department also provides tertiary revision arthroplasty services and has a large research department, including industry-funded research and a motion analysis lab.

This post offers an exciting opportunity to develop services at NHSGJ in new facilities as part of our Phase 2 elective expansion with 5 additional laminar flow theatres, complementing our existing 6 theatres.

Applicants must be registered with the General Medical Council, be on the Specialist Register (or eligible within 6 months of CCT or CESR application), and hold a higher surgical qualification in Orthopaedics from one of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons or equivalent if from outside the UK.

Interviews will be held onsite on 18th and 19th August 2025. Candidates invited for interview must attend both days.
