Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Falkirk Community Hospital for an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner to join the Osteoporosis/Fracture Liaison Team. The service operates as a specialty within the Ambulatory Care and Theatres Directorate.

The successful applicant will work as part of the multidisciplinary team and should possess good interpersonal skills both written and verbal and have a non-medical prescriber qualification. The postholder will possess advanced knowledge of Osteoporosis, fragility fractures, fracture prevention and falls management thus ensuring the effective management and treatment of patients presenting with these conditions.

They should be committed to the provision of high-quality patient focused care and have an interest in service improvement and be flexible to change to meet service needs.

Hours or work will be over 3 days within Monday – Friday with consideration of a flexible working pattern and may include Public Holidays.
