Job Description:

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare support worker to join our specialist nurse-led Tissue Viability team within the Acute Service Division (ASD), NHS Fife.

The team provides expert support to all acute services, focusing on wound care, pressure ulcer prevention and management, staff education and training. They work closely with specialist practitioners in the HSCP to ensure a consistent approach to Tissue Viability across NHS Fife.

It is essential that the post holder has relevant experience in pressure ulcer prevention and management, along with a basic knowledge of wound care. Comprehensive induction and training will be provided for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for a Band 2 or Band 3 Tissue Viability Link Practitioner interested in developing their knowledge and skills within a supportive team. It may also suit a registered nurse looking to \’retire and return\’ part-time.
