Urgent Care Services Fife (UCSF) is recruiting key Dispatch personnel to join their team. The role involves liaising with other services to provide urgent care across Fife and Kinross, covering 118 hours per week. We seek highly organized individuals with experience in fast-paced environments, capable of using initiative to ensure UCSF operates smoothly, safely, and effectively within available resources. Support from senior clinicians will be available as needed.
As a Dispatcher, you will work with a Multi-Disciplinary Team and must demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally. Experience with agreed processes and scripting is essential to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
Applicants should have healthcare experience, knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills, and a good geographical understanding of Fife. Rota schedules will be on a four-week rolling basis, requiring flexibility to work out-of-hours shifts between 18:00 - 08:00, including 24-hour shifts on weekends and public holidays such as Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day. Additional hours may be required during public holidays and for Protected Learning Time.
The salary for part-time positions is pro-rata based on hours worked. NHS Fife is legally obliged to verify the right to work in the UK.
