Aire Valley Surgery and Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice are now working collaboratively to serve a population of patients in Rawdon, Guiseley and Yeadon of circa 26000. Operating from 4 sites, we are now looking to expand our team of Pharmacists, and form a strong and effective Pharmacy Team.

This position is for a Senior Pharmacist who will take the lead on site at the Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice sites and will be overseeing a team of Prescription Clerks and Pharmacy Technicians based at those sites.

This is an ONSITE role only. Remote working is not available for this post.

Responsibilities

  • Structured medication reviews
  • Management of long-term conditions
  • Management of medicines on transfer of care
  • Reviewing systems for safer prescribing
  • Contributing to repeat prescription authorisations and reauthorisation
  • Addressing both the public health and social care needs of patients
  • Contributing to achievement of QOF and locally commissioned quality improvement schemes
  • Undertaking clinical audit
  • Providing support to pharmacy technicians and less experienced pharmacists employed in the practice

Qualifications

  • Qualified non-medical prescriber
  • Completed CPPE General Practice Pharmacist Training Pathway
