The role of the Digital Partner is to help connect digital initiatives at national, regional, and local level for our customers.

Digital Partner stakeholders include: CIOs, CCIOs, CDIOs and Digital Leads across all 42 Integrated Care Systems, 210 Acute, Mental Health and Community Health where Digital Partners need to understand their governance structures and digital strategies.

The role will require attendance at Digital ICS Boards and Groups and 1-2-1 engagement with Digital leaders to secure executive sponsorship and agreement from ICS and local organisations to maximise product uptake. The role also requires Digital Partners to input into ICS and local digital strategies, aligning NHSE programmes and services by using knowledge and understanding of Digital maturity, Priority focus areas, Roadmaps and Governance. Digital Partners will also be expected to harness local knowledge creating customer networks across the regions.

The post holder is also responsible for Account Managing a variety of NHSE programmes and Live Services to provide valuable stakeholder insights to support effective development of products and services.

The Digital Partner is also responsible for managing a team of Implementation managers and supporting the Programme Head in the management of a regional team., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher.   • Self-starter able to proactively own key workstreams with the ability to get up to speed with complex and technical issues quickly covering a diverse range of digital products

  • Experienced analytical skills, able to rapidly assimilate and form positions based on complex information from multiple sources

  • Targeted communications to customers as required, establishing the best methods for communication to maximise impact.

  • An adept influencer, with proven change management capabilities

  • Versatile skills and multi-tasker, who balances strategic foresight with an ability to be adaptive and responsive. Inclusive team player

  • Management of the regional team and oversee the delivery of a suite of digital products across a sub – region

  • Significant knowledge of National Digital products, services and Standards and how and where they are used within the NHS to support improved delivery of services to benefit patients.

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of health and social care, the NHS and its strategic direction, relevant political drivers and how this translates into business requirements for digital services

  • Knowledge of Programme and Project processes, management practices, tools and techniques and governance including risk and issues and benefits management and how they are applied across complex delivery environments
