We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our award-winning team. You will gain experience working on a patient-facing product in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for enabling a team to deliver value acrossrelated products or services.
Ensure that delivery team(s)organise themselves in the most effective way to achieve business outcomes. Motivate their team to learn and innovate, whilst providing coaching and guidance. Blockers are removed, and their interdependencies are addressed, including managing third parties. Manage diverse tasks and conflicting priorities.
Understand behavioursand culture. Manage people and ways of working;adapt team composition to changing needsand respect the self-organising and self-managing nature of the teams. Support Product Managers inbudget managementand monitoring budgets against expenditure.
Create lasting transformation towards agile and lean ways of working. Influence culture change,user-centred design and lean / agile ways of working within NHS England. Contribute to the on-going development of NHS England’s Delivery Management capabilities.
Demonstrate significant knowledge and expertise of related disciplines (testing, development, research, design, comms, change management and planning) , support knowledge sharing through communities of practice, make recommendations to the most senior levels of management, and deal with complex challenges. Work with key external stakeholders such as the Department of Health & Social Care., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher.
