We are delivering over 40 new hospitals that will be modern, sustainable, and designed around the needs of patients and staff. We are seeking individuals who care about purpose, thrive in complex environments, and want to help deliver large-scale change for future generations.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to lead the development and delivery of the Hospital 2.0 Alliance Agreement. This role involves shaping and driving engagement with all partners, championing the principles of the H2.0 Alliance, and supporting the New Hospital Programme (NHP) Partnering Agreements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in large-scale transformation programmes within healthcare or similarly complex settings. You should possess a solid understanding of navigating relationships across multidisciplinary systems, regional entities, and NHS trusts. You will act as a subject matter expert in key areas of the NHS ecosystem, project delivery, and the objectives of the NHP.

The NHS England Board has outlined the top-level purpose for the new organisation: to lead NHS in England to deliver high-quality services for all. This purpose will guide the detailed design work and is achieved through:

  • Enabling local systems and providers to improve community and patient health and reduce health inequalities.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend at least 40% of their time working in person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will typically be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
