The Professional Support and Wellbeing Service (PSW) is dedicated to supporting doctors to fulfil their career potential and meet their training needs and expectations. The PSW team supports educators to identify early warning signs amongst their trainees, develop resilience and well-being for both trainees and educators, increase educator awareness of trainee concerns and improve escalation pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with trainees who have been triaged and allocated to the PSW team.
- Participate in strategic and operational PSW meetings.
- Promote the PSW programme and its benefits to trainees and educators.
- Provide specialist support beyond the clinical and educational supervisor where appropriate.
