As a Senior Product Owner, you will guide the product development process across multiple products and services, supporting improvements to our ways of working to deliver effective and efficient products that meet user needs and support business goals. You will work with multidisciplinary teams in an agile, user-centric environment and be responsible for the quality of the products you develop, ensuring they meet the needs of users and the organization seamlessly.
You will own the design and iteration of products or services and support delivery teams with your expertise to solve problems for users and stakeholders. This role may involve managing multiple products in changing landscapes and tight deadlines. NHSBSA Senior Product Owners prioritize people, inclusivity, and accessibility, aiming to improve lives directly or indirectly.

Job responsibilities
In this role, you will be accountable for:
- Delivering user-centered products, owning the vision and roadmap from start to finish, and managing at least one product within NHSBSA.
- Managing priorities, adapting products to meet needs, and aligning the product roadmap with strategic goals.
- Using product management principles to translate user needs into outcomes, defining MVPs, and setting acceptance criteria.
- Monitoring service quality, setting OKRs, and communicating performance to stakeholders using data-driven decisions.
- Working with operational teams to ensure products meet operational and user needs throughout their lifecycle.
- Line management of Product Owners, supporting their performance and professional growth.
- Communicating constraints and managing expectations across policy, operations, and regulatory colleagues.
- Facilitating the Product Owner community for synergy and collaboration.
- Acting as an ambassador for NHSBSA products internally and externally.
- Supporting product teams to align vision and goals with organizational strategy.
- Building stakeholder networks and promoting digital improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring products are delivered in accordance with NHSBSA policies and governance frameworks.
- Engaging with users for feedback and ongoing improvements.
- Supporting leadership in delivery priorities and stakeholder engagement.
- Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
