Band 5 or 6
An exciting opportunity has arisen for and enthusiastic and motivated Midwife at Band 5 or 6 to join NHS Borders maternity service. We are a small team providing midwifery/consultant led care, with approximately 900 deliveries per year. We aim to provide family centred maternity care to the women and families within the Borders focusing on the principles of Best Start.
Within this role you will work between Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal) and Community providing family centred care and supporting/assisting the running of the service with a clear focus towards the principles of Best Start.
The Borders is a beautiful place to work, live and play; it has an array of outdoor activities available within its stunning countryside location and great transport links within Scotland and across the border. The maternity team enjoy the benefits and support that being part of a small team offers and enjoy varied organised social activities.
