This position is within NHS Borders Estates & Facilities department, seeking a qualified and experienced Estates officer to manage projects for developing, maintaining, and upgrading the NHS Borders estate. Prior experience in managing construction projects within a healthcare environment is preferred.

The successful candidate will have experience managing during periods of change, work autonomously, and prioritize competing demands. They will lead multi-disciplinary teams of contractors and internal estates staff where applicable.

Essential skills include excellent interpersonal, organizational, assertiveness, and diplomatic skills, with the ability to solve problems logically and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.

Must possess a full/valid driving license.

Note: Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this role may require a different level of criminal records check. The appointment may be subject to joining the PVG Scheme if classified as a \’regulated role\’.
