An opportunity has arisen within the Estates Department for a suitably experienced Joiner. Reporting directly to the Building Supervisor you will be part of a team responsible for a range of building related planned and reactive maintenance activities., * Please check your email regularly (including junk folders) and also your JobTrain account for updates.

A City & Guilds apprenticeship in an appropriate building trade related discipline is essential. Previous experience of undertaking building maintenance work within a hospital environment would be an advantage.

You should be able to demonstrate versatility and experience on a range of building maintenance work task schedules in addition to being an effective communicator.

You will also be required to take part in an on call rota and be able to work at other hospitals within Ayrshire to meet the demands of the service. Due to the requirement to participate in an on call rota it is desirable that the successful applicant should live no more than 30 minutes travelling time from the hospital.
