This role offers an opportunity to support the delivery of the primary care clinical pharmacy service within NHS Highland. You will join an established pharmacy team responsible for clinical pharmacy and medicines management in primary care settings.
The role involves working with GP Practices as part of a multi-professional team to optimise safe, quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective medicine use. It is a patient-facing role that is evolving into healthcare and domiciliary settings.
We value innovation and professional development, offering opportunities for further training and education as the service develops.
Applicants should have relevant post-registration pharmacy experience, sound clinical knowledge, excellent communication and IT skills, and hold a Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council is required, and postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience is preferred. An independent prescriber status or willingness to work towards it is also desirable.
A full, current driving license and own car are essential due to travel requirements.
