Stobhill Hospital/HSCP Estates Department are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, resilient and hardworking Painter to join the team, the requirements of the post are to maintain a wide range of buildings were necessary;

The post holder joins a Team of Estates Workforce who are professionally responsible for meeting the organisations key objectives, for the delivery of patient care by the provision of Effective, Efficient and Safe Operation & Maintenance of Estates Services & Systems.

Compliance with Statutory Requirements & Mandatory NHS Healthcare Standards & Guidelines, for the day-to-day operational activities of the Estates Department.

Participate in the use of FM First PPM & Reactive Maintenance System to ensure delivery of Statutory Compliance and Effective Maintenance & Repairs relating to Painting and Decorating to meet requirements of Audit Standards, Decoration Programme and Minor Works.

Organise and manage on a day-to-day basis their work load and priorities. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:00hrs, Friday 08:00 to 15:30hrs. The NHS delivers services around the clock services and this post may require the successful candidate to participate to Work Out with Normal Hours due to Access Restrictions.

Recognised and registered CITB (or equivalent) craft Apprenticeship or City & Guilds appropriate qualification. Competent tradesperson with extensive relevant experience in building fabric maintenance some of which should preferably have been acquired in the health care sector.
