Practice Pharmacist
Inverbervie Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist with a background in hospital, Primary Care or Community Pharmacy to be part of an expanding Multi-Disciplinary Team within a GP Practice.
With the current national development of the GP Clinical Pharmacist role, this post will support our GP’s by undertaking a range of roles, including medicines reconciliation, discharge letters, acute and repeat prescription requests, undertaking polypharmacy reviews in care homes and medication queries.
Person Specification
- Degree in Pharmacy, MPharm/BPharm
- GPhC Registered
- You will be expected to complete, if not already obtained, the Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
- You should have a sound clinical knowledge, good IT skills and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should ideally have previous experience of working within Primary Care but this is not essential as training will be given.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Pharmacist with interest in increasing their clinical responsibility within a forward thinking and supportive practice.
- Band 7 Pay Scale (starting salary negotiable based upon previous experience)
- Hours per week (negotiable)
- Fully computerised paper-light using Vision Clinical System
- 6,000 patients
- 7GPs and 2 ANPs
