We are looking to recruit a Band 5 staff nurse to work within Respiratory Medicine on Ward 7 at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.

This post is fully rotational between day and night shift.

Respiratory Medicine is currently provided on 2 wards within the hospital, Ward 7 is a 30 bedded unit which meets the needs of adult patients requiring in hospital treatment for a range of respiratory conditions. We work closely with the Respiratory Support Unit which is based on Ward 12. We work as part of an MDT which includes our Respiratory Specialist Nurses and Respiratory Physiotherapists.

Gaining experience within the respiratory team could enhance progression within the service into leadership roles or a route to other specialist roles, such as respiratory specialist nursing.
You should have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and be able to work effectively as a member of a MDT.
