Overview
In this Executive Office role, you partner with the CEO and Executive Committee to translate organisational priorities into coordinated action. You strengthen executive decision-making and maintain focus on strategic delivery to help the leadership team operate cohesively. You will oversee cross-organisational initiatives, identify risks and ownership gaps, and provide trusted challenge to senior leaders. The role supports major transformation priorities and aligns activity with governance requirements, shaping resilient ways of working across the Executive Office. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence strategy, governance and delivery at NHBC.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Executive Committee agenda, papers, decisions and follow-ups to enable effective leadership
- Oversee strategic priorities and cross-organisational initiatives, flag risks and ownership gaps
- Provide trusted support and constructive challenge to the CEO and Executive Directors
- Support major organisational change and transformation requiring cross-portfolio coordination
- Align Executive activity with Board and governance requirements with Company Secretariat
- Foster effective, resilient ways of working with the Executive Office and EA team
- Produce concise executive briefings, reports and analyses and build relationships with stakeholders
Key requirements
- Significant senior-level experience in a Chief of Staff, strategic business management, programme-management or comparable role in a complex organisation
- Proven ability to support CEOs, Executive teams or Boards and coordinate complex priorities across multiple senior stakeholders
- Excellent judgement, discretion and political awareness, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence without direct authority
- Outstanding written, verbal and analytical skills to translate complex information into concise briefings and actions
- Strong strategic, governance and programme-management capability with a delivery focus
