Salary: £40,600 – £43,700 (depending on experience) + 6% performance bonus

Working location: Chepstow area / Field Based

As a Building Inspector, you will be a key member of our inspection service team, collaborating with registered builders to ensure homes meet NHBC Standards and Building Regulations, while providing expert guidance. What you’ll be doing:

  • Working from home and visiting construction sites daily, you will ensure that new homes meet NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • You will develop strong relationships with site managers to identify and prevent construction defects, helping manage insurance risk and ensuring quality homes for buyers.
  • Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • You’ll manage your own schedule, with flexible start times, and weekends off to promote work/life balance.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Construction-related qualifications such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent are desirable
  • Full driving license required
