You’ll use your technical expertise and analytical mindset to review build quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and support our customers in raising standards and reducing costs. What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver NHBC’s construction quality consultancy services for our customers, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality experience.
- Review build quality, analyse trends and issues, and develop practical solutions to improve standards.
- Work with small and medium‑sized house builders to identify root causes of quality challenges and help implement improvements.
- Lead presentations and problem‑solving workshops that inspire change and best practice.
- Promote NHBC’s brand for construction quality and support new business growth.
- Conduct root cause analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to raising standards across the industry.
- Keep up to date with new construction methods, materials, and technologies.
- Travel across the UK to meet with clients and attend events.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in the house‑building industry, ideally with a focus on build quality or quality management.
- A detailed understanding of construction methods, regulations, and standards.
- Confident communicator, able to simplify technical information and present to different audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Relationship builder who can influence and engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercially aware, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities.
- Relevant qualification (HND/HNC or above) and/or membership of a professional body.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
