NHB Recruitment are working alongside this international company in Milton Keynes with a brand new hire for a Senior Accountant. The UK Senior Accountant leads the close and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate financials, strong controls, and compliance with GAAP. The UK Senior Accountant owns complex areas: revenue recognition, intercompany, FX, fixed assets and delivers insightful variance analysis that inform decisions. They also drive process improvements, partner cross-functionally, and mentor junior staff.
We are looking for the following experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
- Exposure to group-level reporting
- Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Preference for Oracle or SAP)
This role requires the individual to be in the office 4 days per week/1 at home.
