Overview
NHB Recruitment is working on behalf of a growing eCommerce business selling globally across multiple channels including Amazon (UK/USA/Europe/Japan/Canada/Mexico), Shopify (UK & USA websites), eBay (UK & USA), Walmart (USA) and Mountain Warehouse (UK online). We’re looking for a part-time, hands-on freelance Finance Manager to own bookkeeping, VAT (UK & Germany), multi-currency reporting (GBP/USD/EUR) and deliver quarterly management accounts with practical commercial insight. You’ll work closely with the Directors, supporting month-to-month finance as well as strategic decision-making. Ideally you’ll be fairly local so you can meet once a quarter in person (rather than Teams).
Responsibilities
- Own bookkeeping for the business
- Manage VAT processes for UK & Germany
- Perform multi-currency reporting (GBP/USD/EUR)
- Deliver quarterly management accounts with practical commercial insight
- Support month-to-month finance and assist strategic decision-making with Directors
- Be available to meet in person roughly once per quarter
Qualifications / Key experience
- eCommerce/platform reconciliation experience
- UK & Germany VAT experience
- Multi-currency accounting and reporting
- Experience preparing management accounts
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience working in an eCommerce environment
- Strong strategic finance experience
