NHB Recruitment is looking for an experienced, ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to help build and grow our part-qualified and newly qualified finance recruitment offering. This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants real ownership—not just a seat at a desk.

Working pattern: Hybrid working, with flexibility to split your time between the office and home.

The Role

  • You’ll play a key part in growing our permanent recruitment business across part-qualified and newly qualified finance appointments, developing both the client base and candidate network.
  • You'll have the autonomy to shape your desk, drive business development, and build long-term client and candidate relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing permanent recruitment assignments from initial brief through to successful placement.
  • Sourcing, screening and interviewing high-calibre part-qualified and newly qualified finance professionals.
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of finance candidates across the PQ and NQ market.
  • Developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Advising clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process, including offer management and negotiation.
  • Maintaining a consistent business development strategy to generate new opportunities.
  • Mapping markets and identifying talent pipelines within your specialist area.
  • Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the continued growth of the business.

  • Proven experience in permanent recruitment (finance recruitment would be advantageous).
  • A strong billing track record and evidence of consistent success.
  • Commercially minded with a genuine desire to grow and develop a successful desk.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
