NHB Recruitment is looking for an experienced, ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to help build and grow our part-qualified and newly qualified finance recruitment offering. This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants real ownership—not just a seat at a desk.
Working pattern: Hybrid working, with flexibility to split your time between the office and home.
The Role
- You’ll play a key part in growing our permanent recruitment business across part-qualified and newly qualified finance appointments, developing both the client base and candidate network.
- You will have the autonomy to shape your desk, drive business development, and build long-term client and candidate relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing permanent recruitment assignments from initial brief through to successful placement.
- Sourcing, screening and interviewing high-calibre part-qualified and newly qualified finance professionals.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of finance candidates across the PQ and NQ market.
- Developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Advising clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process, including offer management and negotiation.
- Maintaining a consistent business development strategy to generate new opportunities.
- Mapping markets and identifying talent pipelines within your specialist area.
- Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the continued growth of the business.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in permanent recruitment (finance recruitment would be advantageous).
- A strong billing track record and evidence of consistent success.
- Commercially minded with a genuine desire to grow and develop a successful desk.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to make a real impact in a growing business.
