Reporting to the Group Director of Financial Control, you will play a key role in delivering Group reporting, technical accounting, external audit and tax reporting. • Prepare IFRS technical accounting assessments and papers, including accounting for acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and other complex transactions.
  • Deliver goodwill and intangible asset impairment reviews.
  • Coordinate external audit requirements and resolve audit queries.
  • Prepare and review Group consolidation schedules, reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Support tax accounting and deferred tax calculations.
  • Provide technical support for monthly reporting and consolidation, while improving reporting processes, controls and documentation.

About you

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Significant Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting experience within an AIM-listed or other listed company.
  • Proven experience of Group consolidations, annual report preparation and year-end audits.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge, including technical accounting assessments and impairment reviews.

  • Confident using consolidation and financial reporting systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic, with strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership and deliver to tight deadlines.
