NHB Recruitment are representing a PE-backed technology business in their search for a Finance Business Partner. The company are undergoing an exciting transformation, scaling a software and services-led model to support future growth.
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support the Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Product Development teams. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible role where you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping drive commercial performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.
You will play a key role in translating commercial activity into financial outcomes, supporting everything from sales forecasting and revenue recognition to pricing, product launches, and resource planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales leadership to analyse pipeline performance, identify opportunities and risks, and support commercial decision-making
- Convert sales forecasts into robust financial forecasts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, ARR tracking, and KPI reporting
- Provide commercial support on pricing strategies, deal structuring, and contract negotiations
- Support business planning and financial modelling for new products and go-to-market initiatives
- Work closely with Technical Support leadership to understand and model resource requirements across the customer lifecycle
- Partner with Product Development on R&D investment, capitalisation, product launches, and revenue planning
- Support Marketing with campaign planning, budget management, and measurement of return on investment
- Utilise systems including HubSpot, Power BI, NetSuite, and internal platforms to deliver actionable insight and forecast accuracy
About You
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years' post-qualified experience
- Commercially curious with a desire to understand business drivers and influence outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical capability with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Comfortable working in a growing, evolving business environment
- Experience with SaaS, ARR, subscription-based, or recurring revenue models
- Exposure to HubSpot, Power BI, NetSuite, or similar systems
