NH Consulting is supporting a fast-growing legal consultancy that is redefining what modern in-house legal support looks like. They partner with an incredible range of clients – from household brands and fast-growth tech scaleups to FTSE-listed companies and even a Premier League football club. Their mission is to make legal simple, pragmatic and commercially focused.
They’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team of experienced, like-minded lawyers who care about great work and genuine work-life balance.
The role
You’ll act as a trusted legal partner to a portfolio of clients, providing pragmatic, in-house style legal advice across commercial, data, IP, compliance and marketing law matters. This is a client-facing role, ideal for a seasoned lawyer who thrives in fast-moving business environments and enjoys the variety of supporting multiple clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (IT, SaaS, MSAs, outsourcing, licensing).
- Provide strategic legal and commercial advice aligned with client objectives.
- Deliver training and help clients build contract playbooks and governance frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with client stakeholders and external counsel when needed.
About you
- UK-qualified solicitor with around 8+ years’ PQE (flexible).
- Strong in-house experience – either directly or via secondments.
- Confident working autonomously and managing varied workloads.
- Commercially astute, pragmatic and people-focused.
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
