Electrical Design Engineer

Salary: £40k – £45k DOE

Location: Rugby

About the Role:

nGenium is working with a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical solutions in an exciting period of growth. We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong project background to deliver tailored solutions based on sound engineering principles. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop bespoke designs, and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing PLC and HMI control software.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Liaising with clients to interpret requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Some UK and European travel may be required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum HND qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and some experience with AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring compliance in a highly regulated industry.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
  • The ability to commute to the workplace when required.
