About the Role:
Our key client is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Deputy Medical Engineering Manager. This key role will support and deputise for the Medical Engineering Manager in the operational delivery and performance management of the Medical Engineering team, covering a broad range of high-value and complex Radiology and Radiotherapy equipment including CT scanners and Linear Accelerators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Support day-to-day operations of the Medical Engineering contract, ensuring service continuity and equipment availability.
- Coordinate and manage planned preventative maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, and replacements in collaboration with service providers and suppliers.
- Ensure service delivery meets all contractual performance standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Respond to and resolve operational challenges to minimise downtime and disruption.
- Assist in the procurement and replacement of large-scale medical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of supplier performance.
