Company information: nGeneration has been supporting the retail and hospitality industry for over 22 years, providing field service maintenance to the biggest hospitality chains across the UK. The company operates from a 20,000 sq ft HQ facility in Tipton, Midlands, which serves as the central base for all other activities such as on-site repairs, support hub, staging and warehousing.
Position summary: The Implementer role is responsible for the implementation of customers IT and EPoS systems, coaching and training end users, and managing multi-customer BAU activities including installs, IMAC moves and changes and/or customer project rollouts. A company car is included.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough preparation checks prior to attending sites
- Attend customer sites to conduct implementation services in line with the schedule of works
- Provide system coaching and training according to the customer IT solution specifications
- Provide Go Live Support to site management and staff
- Act as the on-site coordinator of all third parties
- Complete site-specific documentation, including site sign-off, and report site issues to Project Control
- Build excellent customer relationships while on site
- Comply with all company business processes and procedures
- Conduct other tasks as required from time to time
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving License
- EPOS Experience
- Hospitality IT Experience
- Customer Service Skills
- Understanding of IT Hardware
- Willing to travel
Working Away: You will be required to stay away overnight when travel to site is early, the site is distant from home, or you are required to work in a specific geographical area for consecutive days. The company will centrally arrange accommodation and overnight subsistence can be claimed via the company expense procedure.
