We are seeking an experienced and reliable Dumper Driver for our New Romney site, supporting internal drainage and external finishing works. The role involves operating plant safely and efficiently to transport materials across site, ensuring productivity is maintained while upholding high safety standards. 1 week temp work, competitive rates for suitable candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safe and efficient operation of a forward tipping dumper on site
  • Transporting materials (soil, aggregates, muck, and supplies) to support drainage and finishing works
  • Working closely with groundworkers and plant operators to maintain workflow
  • Assisting with loading and unloading in coordination with excavator drivers
  • Supporting internal drainage and external works teams through material movement
  • Carrying out daily checks and basic maintenance of plant equipment
  • Maintaining safe working practices in line with site health & safety requirements
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
  • Following site instructions, levels, and guidance from supervisors
  • Working safely around excavations, live services, and ongoing construction activity

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket (CSCS-affiliated)
  • Proven experience operating dumpers on construction or housing sites
  • Good understanding of site health & safety and safe plant operation
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
  • Right to work in the UK

Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
