We are seeking experienced Deep Drainage Operatives to join our groundwork teams on sites across London. This role will focus on complex infrastructure works including deep drainage, sheet piling, large live services, and installation of 150mm Thames Water sewers. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out deep drainage works, including trench excavation and pipe installation
- Installing and working around sheet piling systems
- Safely working alongside and around large live services
- Laying and connecting 150mm Thames Water sewer systems to specification
- Setting out and working to precise levels and gradients using drawings and laser equipment
- Installing manholes, chambers, and associated drainage structures
- Benching, concreting, and surrounding pipework
- Ensuring correct alignment, fall, and integrity of pipelines
- Working closely with machine operators and site teams to coordinate works
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
