We are looking for certified Traffic Marshalls to manage vehicle and pedestrian movements on a busy project in Bishops Stortford. You will ensure the safe flow of traffic in and around live construction sites, protecting operatives and the public at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controlling the movement of vehicles, plant and pedestrians in and around the site
- Managing access and egress points safely during deliveries and operations
- Communicating clearly with plant operators, drivers and the site team
- Maintaining vigilance and ensuring all site traffic complies with the traffic management plan
- Reporting any near misses, incidents or hazards to the Foreman immediately
- Keeping access routes clear and safe at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Traffic Marshall Certification (CSCS-affiliated)
- CSCS card with relevant experience
- Reliable, punctual and professional manner
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- First Aid at Work Certification
- Previous experience as a traffic marshall on busy construction sites
