We are looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join our groundwork teams on a busy project in New Romney. You will operate 8T tracked excavators across a range of tasks including lifting operations, external drainage, and driveway works, maintaining the highest standards of safety and plant care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Carrying out lifting operations in line with current lifting plans and site requirements
- Installing and maintaining external drainage systems including trenching, laying pipes and backfilling
- Excavating and preparing sub-bases for driveway construction works
- Working accurately to drawings and levels to ensure quality of finished work
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Carrying out essential greasing and basic maintenance, keeping machines clean and tidy
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator +/- 10t Tracked*
- CPCS Lifting Ops / NPORS*
- Excavator as Crane Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
- CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
- 5+ years of experience
* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
