We are looking for reliable and experienced Groundworkers with a valid Forward Tipping Dumper ticket to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Kent. You will work as part of an established road formation gang, carrying out groundwork and formation works alongside operating a Forward Tipping Dumper. The role will involve preparing, levelling and finishing formation levels, moving and spreading materials, and supporting the construction of roads, access routes and hardstanding areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out road formation and associated groundwork to drawings, specifications and required levels
  • Operating a Forward Tipping Dumper safely and efficiently to transport and move materials around site
  • Preparing, levelling and finishing formation levels
  • Working accurately to levels, falls, gradients and required tolerances
  • Supporting the preparation and construction of roads, access routes and hardstanding areas
  • Assisting with externals (slabs, kerbs, edgings) where required
  • Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
  • Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
  • Carrying out daily pre-start checks on the dumper and reporting any defects
  • Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules
  • Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

REQUIREMENTS

  • CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience
  • Valid CPCS / NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket - ESSENTIAL
  • Previous experience operating a Forward Tipping Dumper on construction sites
  • Proven experience working as part of a road formation gang
  • Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks under supervision
  • Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
  • Right to work in the UK

  • CAT & Genny ticket
  • Safety Critical Medical
