Shuttering Carpenter
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for skilled Shuttering Carpenters to join our RC frame teams on a busy project in Dartford.
You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and striking formwork systems for reinforced concrete structures, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out all aspects of shuttering carpentry on reinforced concrete frame projects
• Constructing, erecting, and striking formwork for
- Decking and slabs
- Walls
- Columns
- Staircases
- Lift shafts
- Working with shuttering systems such as Peri, Ischebeck Titan and HV
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all site health and safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of a gang to support programme delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- CSCS Blue Formwork Card (Desirable)
- Proven experience in all aspects of shuttering carpentry on RC frame projects
- Confident working with traditional and proprietary formwork systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements on construction sites
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
