NG Teach is looking for committed, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors to join our team and support children in a variety of school settings across Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. You’ll be working with pupils who need additional support in the classroom. This could be 1:1, small-group work, or general class support. Every day is different and every day you’ll be making a real impact.
We have immediate vacancies in mainstream and specialist schools, with opportunities ranging from day to day cover to long term placements.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom
- Helping children stay engaged, confident and positive
- Assisting teachers with learning activities
- Providing calm, consistent support
- Encouraging independence and celebrating progress
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
You don’t need years of experience, what matters most is the right attitude. Ideal candidates will be:
- Patient, reliable and compassionate

- Happy working 1:1 or in small groups
- Flexible and open to learning
Experience in care, youth work or similar roles is welcome but not essential.
