Full-time salary up to £60k (DOE), plus overtime available and flexible benefits. NG Bailey Facilities Services are expanding their team and are recruiting an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to oversee Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works at Wembley Stadium. The role ensures that plans and execution meet contract requirements across Mechanical Services, HVAC, and associated systems.

Key Deliverables:

  • 3 direct reports, including HR and operational activities to promote a safe, healthy, proactive culture.
  • Adherence to engineering standards and Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Maintain quality assurance procedures and accurate records of mechanical/HVAC plant.
  • Good understanding of BMS and control systems for fault diagnosis and setup.
  • People-management duties: safety briefings, absence reporting, performance reviews, annual leave and timesheet approvals, staff training.
  • High-standard repairs to HVAC plant and associated systems.
  • Install, alter and repair pipework systems promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct workshop pump repairs, including seal replacement.
  • Respond quickly to helpdesk reactive maintenance issues for heating, ventilation, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipework and other mechanical systems, ensuring team does the same.
  • Assist other trades as required.
  • Use CAFM, Smartsheets and subcontractor record portals to capture work output.
  • Effective supply-chain management through regular reviews and interaction for quoted/project works.
  • Send detailed shift reports to management.
  • Support event-day delivery.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Current qualifications to work as a Contracts Supervisor, including NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 – Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187 or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations (desirable).
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical aspects of general building service, repair, and installation.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Mechanical Systems and Heating & Ventilation systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles, including safe isolation, controls and fault finding.
  • Experience with Trend BMS.
  • Authorised Person – Mechanical (desirable).
