We’re seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team in the Leeds office. As the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll act as the creative lead, shaping and driving the visual identity of the organisation across every touchpoint. This role will be responsible for leading the development, evolution and delivery of graphic design function, ensuring all creative output reflects a consistent, innovative and industry leading brand presence. You’ll champion high quality design standards, bringing fresh creative thinking, insight and strong visual storytelling to all projects. Also, you’ll oversee the creation and delivery of impactful print and digital marketing materials, corporate branded resources, event collateral, presentations and work winning proposals, ensuring all communications are visually engaging, commercially effective and aligned with business objectives. Working collaboratively across the business, the role will drive creative excellence, enhance brand consistency and support key initiatives including campaigns, bids and stakeholder communications. You’ll also provide leadership to the design team, managing workloads, supporting development and fostering a collaborative, high-performing creative environment.
Some of the key deliverables for this role will include:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and develop on brand creative concepts that meet their needs.
- Develop on brand materials from briefs (ensuring all documents meet brand standards).
- Partner with bid and proposals teams to create compelling work winning content, support digital asset development and prepare artwork for print.
- Manage the workload status report, ensuring effective communication with the team.
- Present creative ideas and concepts in the form of mood boards to produce effective work winning material.
- Advising on the best creative approach and delivering them through to the end.
- Ensuring a consistent approach to all marketing collateral across the Group – including looking for proactive opportunities to improve our positioning.
- Ensure that everything that comes out as an output of the function has been proof read, spell checked, is accurate and of a high-quality – focus on attention to detail is key.
- Work with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Proposals to manage the budget effectively in relation to any spend on creative elements.
- Work with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Proposals to report on the output of the function and provide a clear ROI on activity.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a Senior Graphic Designer role with line management responsibility.
- Extensive experience in Adobe.
- Proven experience in typography.
- Strong brand experience.
