We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our team delivering a major infrastructure project.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all planning related activities are carried out in compliance with contractual obligations, internal processes and external legislation governing business operations.
- Arrange and facilitate integrated planning meetings, engaging with all relevant stakeholders to develop and agree the plan.
- Participate within bid activities as required.
- Work closely with relevant project personnel and external customer in order to produce/agree a contract baseline programme for each allocated project.
- Maintain and update contract baseline in line with any agreed contract changes, ensuring changes are communicated to all stakeholders.
- Ensure that progress and productivity is effectively monitored against project plan, produce clear reports for all stakeholders.
- Ensure that planning outputs/reports are produced for contract reviews. Support the operational teams in order to ascertain whether project targets are being achieved and jointly establish and agree any corrective measures where necessary.
- Perform time/risk analysis against programmes at regular intervals with the planning manager/senior planner, and the project manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in a planning role on medium to large construction projects. We would be looking for someone with experience of MEP / Building Services projects.
- Construction site experience.
- Primavera proficient.
- A relevant industry or professional qualification/apprenticeship.
