As an NG Bailey apprentice you will:
- Train at one of the top performing colleges or training providers in the country
- Learn about our award-winning approach to working safely
- Work in our offices and visit construction sites
- Be prepared for early starts and travel away from home when necessary
- Develop great working relationships with some of the industry’s most talented people
- Have a strong support network giving you the chance to build your confidence and use your initiative
You will learn to:
- Create and manage detailed plans and schedules for a variety of construction projects, using industry leading project management software
- Collect and manage data in specialist planning and project management software to produce forecasts and completion plans
- Produce project performance reports which measure progress against project targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Attend and contribute to planning and progress meetings
- Work across different departments in our Engineering division to get a clear understanding of the business
We are looking for people who:

You will attend college in Barnsley on block release to complete the Level 3 Project Controls Technician apprenticeship. In addition, you will regularly attend in house training and development as part of the programme.
To apply you need: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English Language, Maths and Science.
Please note, to be eligible for an apprenticeship you:
- Must be able to complete the apprenticeship within the required time, including the End-Point Assessment.
- Must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England.
- Must be ordinarily resident in the UK or its territories for at least 3 years before starting the apprenticeship.
