We have a great opportunity for a Data Manager to join our Facilities Services Insight Team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the quality, consistency and structure of the data that underpins our operational delivery. This role sits at the centre of our asset and PPM data management, working closely with Operational Leads to ensure our CAFM system (IFS) accurately reflects contract requirements, asset hierarchies and maintenance schedules. Full training on IFS will be provided—what matters most is your experience managing data within systems and your ability to bring order, structure and accuracy to complex operational datasets.
Some of the key deliverables in this role include:
- Managing base data, user access, contract setups and requisition processes within IFS, ensuring the system supports operational needs effectively.
- Ensuring asset records are complete, accurate and aligned by translating customer-provided information into NG Bailey’s standardised asset hierarchy.
- Building and maintaining PPM schedules that are efficient, compliant and reflective of both self-delivery and subcontractor requirements.
- Working closely with Operational Leads to improve asset and PPM data quality, supporting more reliable reporting and lifecycle insights.
- Supporting ongoing improvements in data governance, accuracy and consistency across the Insight and Operational teams.
What we’re looking for:
If you enjoy bringing structure to complexity, improving data systems and collaborating with operations teams to drive better outcomes, this could be the ideal next step. We’re looking for individuals who can bring:
- Experience managing data within a Facilities Management or M&E maintenance environment, particularly asset and PPM data.
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems (such as IFS, Concept, Maximo, Joblogic).
- A good understanding of M&E assets and maintenance regimes, including SFG20.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with large, technical datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interpret customer asset data and meet deadlines effectively.
You don’t need prior IFS experience—we’ll provide full training—but you must be confident working with system-based data and supporting operational teams.
Benefits:
We are always evolving our benefits to ensure we are attracting and retaining great people. Some of what you can expect includes:
- 25 Days Holiday
- Bank Holidays, with the option to Buy/Sell additional days
- Pension with a leading provider and up to 8% employer contribution
- Personal Wellbeing and Volunteer Days
- Life Assurance
- Salary sacrifice car scheme (Hybrid/Electric Vehicle)
- Access to our 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
- Flexible benefits including Dental Insurance, Gym Membership, Travel Insurance, Cycle to Work, and more
