Summary

This is a brand new role, created off the back of our continued growth – we simply have more work than we can keep up with, and we need an experienced Senior Estimator to help us make the most of it. Joining our Facilities Services business, you'll lead the commercial and technical pricing of complex, high-value maintenance and FM opportunities, from major frameworks through to strategic bids. Reporting to the Head of Estimating, you'll take ownership of some of our biggest work-winning opportunities, working closely with operational, commercial and bid colleagues to shape solutions that are both competitive and deliverable. This role is mainly remote, with occasional travel into our Leeds or London Head Office. We work as a team here – this role sits within a close-knit, collaborative estimating function where people support each other, share knowledge and genuinely enjoy winning together. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Leading the end-to-end estimating process on large, complex and strategic FM tenders and frameworks
  • Developing first-principles cost models that are accurate, compliant and commercially robust
  • Analysing tender documentation, asset data and service requirements to shape a competitive, deliverable solution
  • Owning risk and opportunity evaluation, embedding it into pricing and submission strategy
  • Driving win themes and differentiators alongside our Solutions Directors and Proposals team
  • Presenting pricing strategies and outputs at internal governance reviews and senior stakeholder meetings
  • Leading a structured handover into delivery teams post-award

What we're looking for:

We're looking for an established estimating professional with a proven track record in Hard FM, who's comfortable leading strategic bids and shaping winning strategies. Someone with:

  • Strong working experience of SFG20 maintenance standards and asset-based pricing methodologies
  • Experience with CCS, Government or other public sector framework tendering
  • A proven track record of winning large, complex FM tenders and frameworks
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels
