Freedom’s Major Projects & Connections team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial elements of a major project near Bridgewater, with future opportunities on other projects. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll support successful P&L, cash flow, and working capital management across large electrical and civil works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership within the commercial team and wider project teams.
- Measurement and valuation of works for applications, variations, and final accounts.
- Identify and notify Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
- Chair monthly project reviews and attend client progress meetings.
- Support development of the wider commercial team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
- Strong commercial performance management experience.
- Civil engineering and construction experience (desirable).
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or HNC with relevant experience).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
