NG Bailey is hiring a Supervisor (Electrical) to join our team, overseeing the maintenance of 5 commercial buildings based in Manchester on a long-term, prestigious client contract. We are offering a fantastic chance for someone to take the next step in their career in a supportive and established environment.

As a Supervisor, you'll be responsible for managing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a small team carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across two buildings and regional offices.
  • Carry out hands‑on electrical maintenance as part of the role.
  • Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard on reactive tasks so that completion is achieved in line with contract KPI's.
  • Ensure PPM completion is achieved in line with contract KPI's.
  • Conduct regular site and safety inspections in line with NG Bailey standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Co‑ordinate and supervise specialist subcontractors as needed.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all documentation and data entry into client systems.
  • Use Word and Excel to complete reports, checklists, and track maintenance records.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.

What We're Looking For
  • Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a building services/facilities environment (supervisory experience ideal, or someone ready to step up).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
  • Computer literate - confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proactive communicator, team player, and able to lead by example.
