Due to growth of local contracts, NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our contracts in the South West Region, mainly working around the Bristol area providing PPM and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will have a background in electrical maintenance with relevant and current qualifications. A UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating to building services.
  • Complete remedial works identified through PPM and react to reactive requests.
  • Carry out planned, reactive and small works such as emergency light testing, lighting upgrades and fault diagnosis on building services equipment.
  • Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date and compliance records for electrical systems are maintained for regular audits.
  • Assist with supervision of sub-contractor work ensuring compliance with H&S standards when required.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (0800-1630) with overtime and participation in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (Electrical Discipline or City & Guilds equivalent) – currently held.
  • 18th Edition certification.
  • Additional qualifications such as C&G 2391 / AM2 are advantageous.
  • Capability to undertake remedial and reactive repairs with minimal supervision.
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely (desirable).
  • Safe System of Work Procedure – PTW, RAMS, etc. (desirable).
  • L8 Training (desirable).
