We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business in Northallerton seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Driver to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role within a supportive and friendly working environment.
Responsibilities
- Receiving components and materials from suppliers and customers
- Checking goods-in documentation and verifying deliveries before acceptance into stock
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading wagons using a company forklift
- Maintaining organised and efficient stock locations
- Supporting regular stock checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Coordinating the dispatch of finished goods
- Manual handling, including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse experience
- Stock control experience
- Valid forklift licence
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Proactive, flexible, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work independently when required and contribute positively within a team
Additional Information
