Key Duties
- Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.
- Carrying out TPMs and ensuring documentation is completed.
- Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
- Monitor stores stock and usage.
- Always apply best practice operation maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Progress and complete project work on site.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Understand and be able to read mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
- Be experienced in the use of PPM systems.
- Work on their own initiative.
- Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.
- Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing to be flexible for the company and work occasional overtime shifts.
Advantageous
- Proven electrical skills with knowledge in the plastics / injection / extrusion / moulding industry.
- Hold a 18th Edition Certificate is preferred but again not essential.
- PAT testing.
