We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Harrogate to recruit a proactive and client-focused Accountant. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse range of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies).
- Production of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Managing and maintaining client relationships, acting as a first point of contact for queries.
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting queries (primarily Xero).
- Working collaboratively within a small, supportive team environment.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and practice procedures.
- Contributing to workflow improvements and supporting the ongoing growth of the practice.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero.

- Experience using IRIS accountancy software.
